The Facts:
Following the arrival of Randy Moss, Caldwell's agent, Tony Fleming, said Bill Belichick spoke with his client Monday. "He assured him that he was very much in their plans and they feel like they have a good arsenal over there and a lot of options for Tom [ Brady]," said Fleming.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Fleming said Caldwell has spent almost the entire offseason in Foxboro to get ready for his second season with the team. But the Patriots currently have 10 wide receivers under contract, and that doesn't include free agent Troy Brown, who could return for a 15th season. Caldwell, who tied Brown for the team lead in TD receptions with four, is scheduled to make $1.55 million next season, not an onerous sum to swallow should somebody have to go. ... Should be an interesting summer for all involved.
