The Facts:
Jackson had workout bonuses added into his contract with the 49ers because, team president Scot McCloughan said, "he needs to be here" in the offseason. The rest of the contract remains the same. He is scheduled to earn $3.25 million this season, $4 million next year, and $4.75 in 2009.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
While it would be nice to think Jackson would be eager enough to learn San Francisco's offense without the financial incentive, it's hard to begrudge a man his paycheck. It is worth noting that Jackson hasn't taken part in Seattle's off-season program or mini-camps in recent years, something that emerged as a factor in the Seahawks' decision to trade him.
