The Facts:
Ward and fellow wideout Antwaan Randle El will become free agents next year unless they sign extensions and that is what the Steelers would like them to do. They will start with Ward, made the Pro Bowl for the fourth consecutive year, next month. With Plaxico Burress' departure, Ward and Randle El become even more of a priority for them this season.
