Interviewed on ESPN Sports Radio 810 in Kansas City today, Green said communication between the Chiefs and Dolphins regarding a potential trade has resumed at the urging of him and agent Jim Steiner.

Green, though, admits he is uncertain when -- or even if -- a deal will be struck. "In reality, if the Chiefs wanted to be jerks about it, they could drag it all the way until training camp," Green said. Still, the veteran QB's departure from Kansas City appears imminent because he is due to make $7.2 million in 2007 and is refusing to restructure his contract for any other team but the Dolphins, with whom he already has a tentative agreement. ...
