The Facts:
The Bucs' interest in troubled-signal caller Quincy Carter appears to have waned with head coach Jon Gruden saying the Bucs probably will look in another direction for quarterback depth. "It was a good meeting, and we're going to keep looking at quarterbacks that are available," Gruden said. Meanwhile, the agent for Joe Jurevicius said the free-agent wide receiver was still in Seattle visiting family, and while the Seahawks and other teams had expressed interest, he would like to retire a Buccaneer.
