Pathon was in Seattle on Wednesday to take a physical and visit with coaches. The former Washington Husky spent the past three seasons with the New Orleans Saints, averaging 40 catches and 561 yards per season.

Pathon is the fourth receiver in whom the Seahawks have expressed interest this month. Joe Jurevicius visited the team last week, and Travis Taylor canceled a visit after signing with Minnesota. The Seahawks also are among several teams who have been talking to the Redskins about acquiring receiver Rod Gardner, but it doesn't appear any move is imminent.
