Former Falcon Ray Buchanan denied comments attributed to him during a radio talk show about having direct knowledge of Vick being a leader and financial backer of a dog-fighting ring. "I don't know anything about Mike being involved in dog fighting and that's for real," Buchanan said this morning. "I don't know and I didn't say anything about Mike Vick. ... Having anything to do with dog fighting."

a previous item, during a radio broadcast aired in Tampa last Friday, Fox Sports radio talk show host Chris Landry recounted an off-air conversation he said he had with Buchanan in which Buchanan, who works for Fox Sports Radio, told him Vick, who is under investigation in Virginia, was deeply involved in dog fighting and that Vick funded parts of the illegal sport. Landry also said Buchanan told him Vick openly spoke to players about his involvement. ... Landry said he stood by his remarks in an interview on Atlanta radio station 790-AM Monday morning. ...
