Finneran re-injured the surgically repaired left knee that sidelined him all last season. He will undergo further medical testing before it can be determined when, or if, he will return this season. Reported by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Results of the testing might not be known until early next week. At the very least, Finneran's projected return by the start of training camp could be set back. ... Unsure of Finneran's durability this season, Atlanta picked Laurent Robinson in the third round of the draft. Joe Horn, Roddy White and Michael Jenkins are expected to form the top-three. Robinson, Adam Jennings and free agent Fred Gibson, among others, are competing for playing time and roster spots at wide receiver.
