The Facts:
Though he became the first QB in franchise history to throw for more than 4,000 yards in a single season, Palmer's completion percentage suffered last season, falling 5.5 points from 67.8 in 2006 to 62.3, which ranked seventh in the AFC among qualified passers. Palmer, now back on the field after a routine winter, aims to make up those 5.5 percentage points and more. "We want to be in the 70s. We're shooting for the 70s," Palmer said Tuesday.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Because Palmer spent last offseason rehabbing the torn ACL suffered in January of 2006, his goal of improving that completion percentage doesn't unreasonable. Asked how much difference might it make come September after having a whole offseason of work, Palmer said: "Just having the chance to work fundamentals and mechanics; 95 percent of your completion percentage goes down to your mechanics and fundamentals."
