There soon could be the opportunity for a breakthrough in ongoing trade talks between Kansas City and Miami. The Chiefs' organized team activities will kick off May 21, and Green is adamant that, unless he is traded to Miami before then, he will be attending. The Chiefs do not want Green there as much as he doesn't want to be there, which could provide an impetus to consummate a trade by May 21

As NFL Network insider Adam Schefter pointed out, the Titans were in a similar situation last year with Steve McNair and they wound up locking him out of the building, which created a unique and bizarre situation that no team, especially the Chiefs now, would want to repeat. ... Schefter notes there also are other factors working to facilitate a trade for Green. In recent days, the Dolphins have shown a willingness to budge off their offer of a sixth-round draft pick to the Chiefs.
