Johnson will visit the Titans on Friday. His relationship with HC Jeff Fisher goes back to Southern California, when the coach played for the Trojans and Johnson was a ball boy. "I know Jeff, but I don't know the organization and I don't know the makeup of the team and the coaching staff. I know a little bit about Norm Chow. ... At the same time, I want to make sure everything's the right fit," Johnson said.

And by everything, Johnson means a favorable contract. According to NFL Network insider Adam Schefter, all the teams that have approached him -- New England, Tennessee, Oakland, even Denver -- have discussed veteran-minimum type contracts, Johnson prefers a salary-cap-friendly two- or three-year deal. Schefter added if Johnson cannot finalize what he feels is a fair offer in the coming days, then he is prepared to turn his back on football, walk away and turn his attention to other business interests.
