Chargers Re-Sign TE Justin Peelle
(3/29 8:38 PT)

The Facts:
The Chargers re-signed Peelle, a restricted free agent, to a one-year contract. The 6-4, 255-pound Peelle finished the 2004 regular season with 10 receptions for 84 yards and recorded two touchdowns. Reported by the San Diego Union-Tribune

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Although Antonio Gates is locked in as the No. 1 in San Diego, Peelle played in all 16 games, starting in four. It's also worth noting that NFL Network insider Adam Schefter reported on Monday that Gates isn't thrilled with his current contract and will carefully consider his options before reporting for offseason workouts and mini-camps.
