The Facts:
Edwards was a no-show Tuesday for the first day of the Browns voluntary camp. HC Romeo Crennel said Edwards informed the team he would miss the first day and would be here tomorrow. The coach said he was disappointed, but has not spoken to Edwards and thus would reserve judgment.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Based on a report by Profootballtalk.com, reserving judgment was wise. Edwards apparently missed the practice because he was attending a speaking engagement in connection with his recent pledge of up to $1 million to assist Cleveland-area students. Maybe Crennel should have held off voicing his disappointment while reserving judgment. ... It's worth noting that Edwards told reporters last week he hoped to put all of the past troubles behind him and become the player the Browns and their fans were expecting.
