Holt, recovering from off-season knee surgery, jogged through a few routes and even joined his teammates for sprints -- albeit at about half-speed -- after Thursday's workout. Holt said his knee was "feeling pretty good. ... It's coming along."

Still, Scott Linehan said he wants Holt, who had the knee scoped early this year, to be cautious about pushing himself. "He's at a point in his career where we've got to manage it and make sure he's able to finish a long, grueling season," the coach said. Holt has been bothered by knee problems since the middle of the 2005 season. He thought about cleanup surgery after the '05 campaign but decided against it. ... For the record, all indications are Holt will be at full speed when training camp opens.
