The Facts:
The Dolphins have slightly increased their trade offer for Green, his agent said, but the Chiefs feel both sides are no closer to a deal, according to a league source. Jim Steiner, Green’s agent, said the Dolphins have offered the Chiefs a conditional sixth-round pick in the 2008 draft. The pick would increase to a fifth-round selection should Green play a certain amount with the Dolphins.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Unfortunately, the movement by the Dolphins was not met by open arms by the Chiefs, who are still asking for a fourth-round pick in return for Green. Kansas City may agree to the deal if Miami offers a fifth-rounder without conditions, but that is not expected to happen anytime soon. According to Post staffer Greg A. Bedard, the Chiefs are really dug in.
