Despite the rather combative tone taken late last month, this report -- if true -- isn't especially surprising. The Dolphins aren't pursuing Green as a backup. They view him as a stop-gap starter. There's no reason to believe Culpepper will be given an even chance to compete for the starting job in training camp. ... All that said, don't look for the Dolphins to make any moves with Culpepper until Green is securely in the fold.
