HC Cam Cameron insists the Culpepper situation has not caused a "circus" atmosphere around the team, but things took a turn for the bizarre this afternoon when Culpepper pulled out a red folder that contained printed press releases he wrote for the media. In the release, the QB said his "dream" of playing for the Dolphins has "become a nightmare," and that he has asked the legal department of the players' union to get involved.

Culpepper asked to be released after he was told he was not in the team's plans following Miami's trade for Trent Green this week. Instead of an outright release, the Dolphins are hoping to trade Culpepper to get something in return. Cameron said during Saturday's mini-camp that the team was "absolutely" prepared to drag the situation out into training camp if necessary. Informed of Cameron's comments, Culpepper, who did not participate in practice but was in the locker room afterward, said, "That's cool," and then passed out the press releases. ...
