The Packers on Friday re-signed Davenport, who was a restricted free agent, to a one-year contract. Financial terms were not disclosed. A powerful back, the 6-1, 250-pound Davenport serves as the backup to Pro Bowler Ahman Green. He carried 71 times for 359 yards and two touchdowns in 11 games last season.
