The Facts:
Jackson's rehabilitation from a torn ACL suffered in the Patriots' AFC Championship game loss to the Indianapolis Colts is going well enough that he could be ready for the start of the season. Jackson, who had surgery in January, is already sprinting.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Jackson, who injured his knee playing special teams late in New England's 38-34 loss, could still be ticketed for the physically-unable-to-perform list when training camp opens July 27. However, his agents say it would be a mistake to write off the second-year receiver and assume he is headed to injured reserve. Of course, judging by their off-season activity, Jackson is not a big part of the Patriots' 2007 plans. New England added wideouts Randy Moss, Wes Welker, Donte' Stallworth, and Kelley Washington in the offseason via trade or free agency.
