At the end of the Browns' recently concluded mini-camp, it was Anderson who had "a leg up." Anderson did a nice job in directing the Browns' No. 1 offense into position in the two-minute drill.

Now, was there any significance to the fact that Anderson was with the first-teamers at the end instead of Charlie Frye, the man who HC Romeo Crennel says has "a leg up" or rookie Brady Quinn? No, the coach said. "We're rotating all the quarterbacks and giving them an equal chance," Crennel explained. Still, Anderson seems to be making the most of his chances and is impressing with his strong arm. In fact, Crennel says it's clear that Anderson, the tallest QB in Browns history at 6-6 and nearly the biggest, too, at 229 pounds, has the strongest arm of the group. ... The competition this summer should be interesting.
