The Facts:
Fearing his brief career as an NFL linebacker might be coming to an end, Boomer Grigsby planned to approach HC Herm Edwards about a change in position. Grigsby never got the chance. At the end of last season, Edwards pursued the subject before Grigsby could. Suddenly, though he had never played the position in a game, Grigsby was a fullback.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The Chiefs played most of last season without a true fullback after losing Ronnie Cruz early in the year because of a knee injury. They used Kris Wilson, a converted tight end, and managed. They still plan to use Wilson out of the backfield, but he's most effective as a receiver. So, the Chiefs want someone else to do much of the dirty work as a lead blocker. Grigsby has moved to the front of that line.
