NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell floated a public
trial balloon on this issue earlier in the year, and the reaction was generally positive -- or more importantly, as Florio suggests, not negative. ... Again, nothing is imminent at this point but the league's ultimate goal here is coming into focus.
