Chris Brown Early Favorite To Be Titans No. 1 RB?
(7/5 7:58 PT)

The Facts:
In discussing the impending competition between Brown, LenDale White and Chris Henry, City Paper staffer Terry McCormick suggests Brown would appear to have the inside track on the Titans' No. 1 RB spot for now, simply because he has a track record of sorts, including a 1,000-yard season in 2004.  Reported by the Nashville City Paper

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
McCormick went on to note the fact that the Titans re-signed Brown, who appeared a goner at season’s end, should tell you all you need to know about their assessment of the running back situation. White found his way into the doghouse early by reporting to the offseason overweight, then injuring his hamstring. The debate on Henry within the Titans’ camp is how good will he be and how quickly can he get there. McCormick added: "This is one spot where whoever wins the job at the start of the season will have to keep producing in order to keep it." Sounds like a reasonable enough assessment.
