The Facts:
According to AJC staffer Mark Bradley, Norwood is a guy new HC Bobby
Petrino keeps mentioning and [Norwood] figures to get nearly as many
touches as Warrick Dunn this season. More, if Norwood proves he can catch the ball. As Bradley further notes, Petrino's quarterbacks are noted for utilizing every receiver.

While the actual roles haven't been defined, there's no doubt Atlanta's
backfield will change this year. The only question is how much? As we
pointed out in this year's
Pro Forecast
magazine, Petrino likes the running scheme. We also know Norwood is
bigger than Dunn and more seasoned after a solid rookie season. Better
still, Norwood made strides in learning the new scheme this offseason with Dunn recovering from shoulder surgery. We'll stress, however, that
Bradley's assertion is nothing more than speculation at this point and the Falcons' backfield will be something Fantasy owners need to follow closely this summer.
