Lions Sign QB J.T. O'Sullivan
(7/10 8:31 PT)

The Facts:
O'Sullivan reached a contract agreement with Detroit on Monday afternoon, where a thin depth chart could provide the journeyman passer a legitimate opportunity to win a job as a backup to starter Jon Kitna. Contract details were not immediately available. Reported by ESPN.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Given the lack of experience in Detroit, ESPN.com's Len Pasquarelli believes it is conceivable that O'Sullivan could compete for the No. 2 job behind Kitna. The most experienced backup on the roster is third-year veteran Dan Orlovsky, a fifth-round choice in 2005 who has appeared in two games. The rest of the depth chart includes rookies Drew Stanton of Michigan State, a second-round pick, and undrafted free agent Phil Horvath of Northern Illinois.
