The Facts:
On Tuesday Marshall pulled up early in drills with a strained quad suffered during simple pitch- and-catch work between receivers and quarterbacks. Nobody was within 10 yards of Marshall when he grabbed the side of his leg after making a cut.

While this sounds like a rather minor setback, Post staffer Tom Kensler suggested that coaches have to be concerned about whether Marshall can stay healthy enough to be the team's No. 2 receiver opposite Javon Walker. Marshall was hoping to at least get through the two-day mini-camp, which concluded Tuesday. A groin strain forced him to miss much of the quarterback camp and team camp, in May and June. ... We'll be keeping a close eye on Marshall's progress once camp opens.
