The Facts:
Green Bay could be the latest team to use a running-back-by-committee approach. HC Mike McCarthy, though, emphasized at the end of the Packers' June practices that he'd like to see someone emerge."You'd always like to see someone jump up and grab a position, because I think when that happens, obviously productivity increases," he said.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Vernand Morency is the front-runner at tailback, but he figures to be pushed by rookie Brandon Jackson. Morency (5-10, 220) and Jackson (5-10, 212) are virtually the same size, however, and neither has yet to prove they're durable enough to carry the ball 300 times in a season. In other words, McCarthy's desire for a single stud seems like a reach.
