The Facts:
TMJ4 sports anchor Lance Allan was told by an NFL source that the Packers are keeping a very close eye on Johnson's contract situation in Kansas City.

Allan went on to point out the Packers have plenty of cap room. And Scouts Inc. recently rated the combo of Vernand Morency and Brandon Jackson as the 32nd best running combo in the NFL -- dead last in the league. ... Will it happen? Probably not. But as Allan added, a long shot is better than no shot at all (certainly from Green Bay's perspective). In the meantime, we'll continue follow Johnson, who has hinted at holding out for a new contract, as the summer progresses.
