previous item, the resumption of negotiations comes in the wake of
remarks made earlier this week, when Bulger -- entering the final year of his contract -- hinted he might hold out if a new deal isn't in place by the start of camp on July 26. Bulger has subsquently backed off those comments and the fact talks are on again is a good sign. ... Stay tuned.
