More Details On Chris Chambers' Arrest

The Facts:
Chambers was clocked driving 74 mph in a 45-mph zone and failed to adequately perform a series of field-sobriety tests after police pulled him over early Saturday in North Carolina, according to a police report. The arresting officer noted that Chambers emitted a "very strong odor" of alcohol, had watery or glassy eyes and mumbled his words. Chambers declined to submit to an on-site Breathalyzer test to determine his blood-alcohol level, but blew a level of 0.06 after he was taken to the county jail, the report said. Reported by the Palm Beach Post

Chambers was arrested at 2:31 a.m. Saturday. He was charged with driving while impaired, reckless driving and speeding. In North Carolina, a driver with a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher is considered to be legally impaired. He is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 15. ... Stay tuned.
