The Facts:
A league source tells us that the Falcons are pondering the possibility of pursuing free-agent QB Culpepper. The problem, however, is that the team does not want to create the perception that it believes that Michael Vick's mental state, given the pending legal brouhaha, will not allow him to perform effectively in 2007. For now, then, a final decision has not been made.

Most observers still believe the Jaguars, Ravens and Rams are the best bets for Culpepper and the Jags are still the only team to publicly express interest.
