This after Falcons, NFL and NFL union officials held a third day of conference calls (and PETA held a conspicuous protest outside league headquarters) Friday to try to resolve what to do with Vick, who was indicted Tuesday on federal dogfighting charges. According to Journal Constitution staffer Steve Wyche, several things need to be ironed out between all parties, but things are moving forward to where a decision will be made before players report to training camp Wednesday. One of the options being discussed is a paid leave of absence for Vick, although neither suspension nor Vick being allowed to play have been ruled out. ... Stay tuned.
