The Facts:
A league source tells us that Falcons owner Arthur Blank and GM Rick McKay are pushing for a paid leave of absence for Vick, but the embattled quarterback doesn't want to do it. The source says that Vick believes that he'll be acquitted, and that he doesn't think he should step aside while the case is pending.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
PFT editor Mike Florio went on to suggest the Falcons are eager to resolve Vick's status so that they can pursue free-agent quarterback Daunte Culpepper. But under the CBA, the team cannot impose a paid leave on Vick against his will due to revisions made in 2006 following the Terrell Owens situation, where the Eagles sent him home for the balance of the season with pay.
