The Facts:
The Browns have officially changed Winslow's roster status to "Active/Physically Unable to Perform". According to Scout.com's Adam Caplan, Winslow can be removed from this status at any time up until the point that final rosters are set. At that point, the team would have to remove him from PUP status, or he would not be able to play for the first six weeks of the season.

Coming off off-season microfracture surgery, by all accounts Winslow appears to be on schedule to return to the practice field during training camp and should be ready to go come the regular season. He fought through knee troubles during the '06 campaign and still managed to start each of the team's 16 games. ... His status bears watching, but we still believe the outlook is positive.
