The Facts:
Meachem, who underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee to repair some meniscus damage in early June, says the knee is now "100 percent," and he is ready to participate at full speed when the Saints begin practices Friday morning.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Meachem's NFL career got off to a slow start this summer. He struggled during rookie mini-camp in May, showing up about 15 pounds above his ideal playing weight, then spraining an ankle. Still, the 6-2, 214-pounder is a candidate to replace departed veteran Joe Horn in the starting lineup. But he'll have to outshine several veterans if he wants to crack the starting lineup. He seemed to be behind Devery Henderson, David Patten and Terrance Copper in the pecking order during off-season workouts.
