a previous item. ... Winslow will be designated on the active/physically unable to perform list at the start of Browns training camp Friday. But the club believes Winslow will be activated upon passing a physical exam over the next week.

Winslow had microfracture surgery to promote new cartilage growth and alleviate pain in the right knee he injured in a motorcycle accident in May 2005. The Browns intend to exercise caution in not overusing Winslow early in camp.
