Jones, a third-round pick, reached an accord with the club and was on his way to Green Bay from his West Coast home with signed documents, according to two sources familiar with the negotiations. According to one of the sources, Jones agreed to a four-year deal that included an escalator that would greatly increase his earnings in the fourth year if he were to reach a number of statistical milestones.
