The Facts:
HC Andy Reid announced on Friday that McNabb had been cleared to practice and would participate in the Eagles' first training camp workout Saturday morning. Reid added that McNabb will wear a protective brace on his right knee for camp, something he didn't do when he returned to the practice field for the first time at the June OTAs. "It's just more of a security blanket for him," Reid said of McNabb's brace.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Reid was non-committal when asked when McNabb would return to game action, saying he was "not in any hurry to push him into pre-season games." Still, Reid emphasized that despite the precautions being taken with his franchise QB, expectations for McNabb are high. "I'm not coming into it thinking that Donovan is going to get hurt this season," Reid said. "I'm looking at Donovan having a great season. ..." And as long as the QB is healthy, there's no reason to believe that won't be the case.
