The Facts:
Taylor, who rushed for 99 yards in the last game of last season, underwent surgery Sunday and was placed on injured reserve, ending his season. "It's going to take Chris from three to six months to recover, but we're confident that he'll be back and have a productive career in this league," HC Gary Kubiak said.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Taylor's knee injury and Wali Lundy's sore back forced some additions. The Texans signed two running backs Sunday -- veteran Patrick Pass and rookie Darius Walker (Notre Dame). Pass earned three Super Bowl rings as a backup with the Patriots. Walker signed with the Texans as a free agent but was waived before camp. The Texans signed Pass over Quentin Griffin. "Pass can play more than one position, including fullback," Kubiak said.
