The Facts:
With the holdout of Browns quarterback Brady Quinn lingering, every indication is that the guy drafted behind him plans to wait until Quinn signs before doing his deal. A league source tells us that, as of a couple of hours ago, there had been no discussions between the Chiefs and Bowe's representatives for the past couple of days. The only plausible reason, in our view, is that there's nothing to discuss until Quinn signs.

That makes sense, but Bowe could be letting a great opportunity to move in as an immediate starter in Kansas City go by the wayside. Thanks to his imposing physical presence, Bowe is able to overpower defenders; he's a tough receiver willing to go over the middle -- all skills the Chiefs desperately need. But Bowe he needs to improve his technique and ability after the catch. Getting into camp quickly would help. Stay tuned.
