A source familiar with the situation said the Raiders are expected to sign Culpepper today. As noted in
a previous update, HC Lane Kiffin confirmed Culpepper was being brought in for a workout. He also said the Raiders had already seen Culpepper recently.

With No. 1 pick JaMarcus Russell still unsigned, Culpepper would join Josh McCown and Andrew Walter, who have been splitting quarterback reps with the first team.
