The Facts:
Leftwich was a regular at team headquarters long before the Jaguars began their offseason program this week, mainly so he could pick the brain of new offensive coordinator Carl Smith. Leftwich said he likes what he has heard so far from Bill Musgrave's successor, who is vowing to throw the ball downfield more and have a strong commitment to the running game.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Whether Musgrave was actually responsible for last year's less-than-impressive totals remains to be seen. But the Jaguars feel that Leftwich is at his best when he's throwing down the field and wasn't a good fit for Musgrave's dink and dunk offense. That philosophy will change. "I don't want to get into too much detail this early, but it's going to be exciting," Leftwich said. "The offense is going to look a little different than it has in the past."
