Terry Glenn To Have Knee Scoped
(7/31 4:39 PT)

The Facts:
The Cowboys announced Tuesday that Glenn will undergo arthroscopic knee surgery. Team owner Jerry Jones said the surgery is scheduled for Tuesday and that Glenn will likely miss two weeks. Glenn should be ready when the Cowboys open the season at home vs. NFC East rival New York Giants on September 9. Reported by The Sports Ticker

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Glenn, 33, suffered the injury Sunday and has not practiced since. An MRI came back negative, but the 12-year veteran does have a tiny cyst on the back of his knee cap. "We thought we might not need to do it, but decided to go ahead and (have the scope) because we don't want to wait to do it later and possibly cause him to miss part of the season," Jones said. ... Sounds reasonable enough, but Fantasy owners will want to watch his return carefully before making a draft-day commitment.
