The Facts:
The New York Jets on Tuesday signed Hollings. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Hollings, a second-round pick in the 2003 supplemental draft, rushed for 149 yards on 49 carries in three seasons with the Houston Texans. He sat out last season after being waived by the Indianapolis Colts just prior to the start of the season.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Cedric Houston left the team for personal reasons last week, leaving an opening on the Jets' depth chart. As New York Newsday staffer Tom Rock noted, Hollings becomes third player in training camp so far to wear No. 32, following Houston and Tony Fisher, who was released today after signing last week. Rock added: "Not a good luck number. The Curse of [Kevan] Barlow (who also wore 32) lingers!"
