The Facts:
Asked on Thursday if Morency was still expected to return to work in two weeks as first announced, HC Mike McCarthy was less than precise. "They're saying a couple weeks, two to three weeks," the coach explained. "I talked to [Morency] this morning. The soreness is in his patella tendon. It's a knee strain is what it's classified as. It's a couple weeks. It could be two. It could be four."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
This is officially the second time McCarthy and the Packers have changed their tune on Morency's current knee injury -- which was initially characterized as a contusion. He went from day-to-day to being out two weeks. Now McCarthy seems to be adding more time. What hasn't changed? In addition to giving rookie Brandon Jackson more time with the first team offense, Morency's increasingly lengthier absence reinforces the notion that he's not physical enough to serve as an NFL feature back.
