As noted in
a previous item, Perry went to Nashville on Thursday and met with Dr. Thomas Byrd for a checkup. He had a MRI taken in Nashville. "Everything turned out negative, but just to make them feel better they wanted to take some precautionary measures. I'm trying to fight them about it," said Perry, a prime candidate to serve as the team's third receiver while Chris Henry serves an 8-game suspension.
