The Facts:
HC Romeo Crennel insists he hasn't made up his mind as to who will be the team's starting quarterback come Sept. 9 against the Pittsburgh Steelers in the season opener. But Monday by NFL rules he had to release a depth chart and list a first-team quarterback. So he did so, listing incumbent starter Charlie Frye as the man on the team's first chart of the 2007 season.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
As Frye said it really doesn't matter who gets the first shot. "The only thing that matters to me is who is starting in Week 1," he said. "The preseason is still time for the coaches to evaluate." With Brady Quinn still absent from camp, the club will rely on only three quarterbacks -- Frye, Derek Anderson, and Ken Dorsey -- to play the entire game Saturday. ... It should be noted that both Frye and Anderson have had their moments in recent workouts. Stay tuned.
