Betts has been getting in extra work with Clinton Portis sitting out to rest his knee in recent days. Although Portis isn't in danger of losing the starting job, Betts' tremendous second half after Portis succumbed to hand and shoulder injuries all but guarantees some level of sharing this fall. How much might depend on how Portis' knee responds to rest.
