Report: Vince Young Benched For Breaking Curfew
(8/12 7:44 PT)

The Facts:
Following up on a previous item. ... Young, benched for Saturday night's game against the Redskins, broke curfew by spending Friday night at home instead of at the hotel where the team stays during camp. Players with less than four years experience are required to stay at the hotel. Reported by the Nashville Tennessean

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
As Tennessean staffer Jim Wyatt noted, Young has talked about being more of a leader in his second NFL season. Some might suggest his actions in this case carry a bit more loudly than his words. Whatever the case, the bottom line remains unchanged on this one: Sidelined for violating the team rule, Young watched as the Washington Redskins beat the Titans 14-6. ... Of course, Young started a regular-season game against the Eagles after missing the team flight. He caught a later flight and made it to Philadelphia the night before the game and teammate Albert Haynesworth believes that would have been the case last night had it been a regular-season game. "I don't know if he would be sitting out in the regular season, to be honest,'' he said with a smile. "Those games are a little more important.'' A fair assessment.
