The Facts:
ESPN's Sal Paolantonio is reporting that McNabb, recovering from surgery on his right knee, will not play Monday when the Eagles open their preseason with a game in Baltimore against the Ravens. McNabb hasn't played in a game since he tore a ligament against the Tennessee Titans on Nov. 19.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
A.J. Feeley is scheduled to start for the Eagles and Kelly Holcomb will play the second quarter. Rookie Kevin Kolb is slated to play the second half. ... Although his recovery is on -- if not ahead of -- schedule, the Eagles are wise to take a cautious approach. There is no need to rush, especially given his history. McNabb has had three major injuries in the last five seasons. He missed the final seven games of the 2005 season with a sports hernia, and in 2002 missed the final six regular-season games with a broken ankle.
